DIY Gutter Cleaning – is it a bad idea?

I was on my way to Box Hill to visit a customer when I saw a man up on a ladder with a rake trying to clean out his own gutters. The ladder was wobbling, he was overreaching with the rake and the leaves were just being thrown on the ground. I don’t know […]

Winter is coming… are your gutters ready?

Autumn is coming and while the weather is still nice out you can still have fun in the sun. There is one thing you should be doing though before winter comes and that is to have your roof and gutters looked at.

The trees surrounding your property are probably looking a little more sparse, and […]

Goodbye Gutter Guard!

Gutter Guard sounds fine in theory, but in practice it doesn’t always work out! Here is another load of gutter guard that we pulled off of a roof. The dirt and dust still gets into the gutters. Leaves can sit on the gutter guard, break down and fall into the gutters. When that is […]

Blocked gutters & downpipes cause flooding!

These gutters were completely blocked, as were the downpipes. Heavy rain can find its way back into the roof which can cause flooding. These gutters had huge plants and grass growing out of them, along with nuts and berries falling from the trees. Our trailer mounted gutter vacuuming was on the “Caveman diet” at this […]

This bracket sits on the roof, rather than on the gutters. It stops the gutters from being scratched while gutters cleaning and more importantly it stops the ladder from falling. For further safety, the ladder is secured to […]

Gutter Muck

Here is where all of the mess ends up, in a drum in our trailer. It is pretty messy stuff, however wet or dry it is, our gutter vacuuming Melbourne can take it away.
The previous customer in Box Hill had some broken tiles, which we replaced and took the old ones away.

*If you would […]
